00:42:42<icedice>nukke: I use VPN. I try and access Proton Mail accounts using the same VPN IP, or at least the same location and ASN. I did log into another Proton account 1.5 days before - to save it from getting deactivated from inactivity - using another VPN server in another country, but same ASN. The browser has fingerprint randomization and had been updated in-between, though it shows my real time zone and also security systems don't like mismatches
00:42:42<icedice>between IP location and time zone. So it's possible that could have triggered it, I guess. I also did the same thing with a few other Proton accounts I wanted to save, but a lot more spaced out in time so those should not have caused it, I think.
00:47:30<icedice>Also I've only used four different IP addresses to access that Proton account and haven't touched the account in over three years, so if it's strictly due to multiple login attempts, it's not me

16:42:55<steering>klea: does it not just store all the state in a dir somewhere? copy it over :P
