17:02:10<@JAA>I'm pretty sure I had the bar at least at the bottom, left, and top at some point in my Windows time. Not sure where it was at the end, but GNOME putting it at the top was fine for me, and that's where it is with XFCE, too.

17:23:59<steering>I customized the heck out of my taskbar on windows at various points but I never actually moved it. Looking toward the bottom was always too ingrained in me, I might have tried moving it for a month or something.
