01:26:46<nicolas17>JAA: is it possible to know what compression level was used for a .zst file?
01:28:55<nicolas17>I have lost track of which of these files I already recompressed better (my initial download is rsync | zstd -1)

01:35:27<@JAA>nicolas17: I don't think so, at least not directly. As far as I know, the compression level isn't stored anywhere, and it doesn't have a straightforward meaning either besides 'higher level = more compression algorithm features = usually better compression'.
01:35:40<@JAA>Maybe it could theoretically be inferred from statistics on the compressed stream or something.

21:39:21<valdikss>Hey everyone! Please help me find the file on the internet. In 2008, Wordcraft company wrote a third-party driver for Toshiba's E-Studio "GDI" printers and MFPs. There are many mentions of it on the Internet, for example, in Russian Ubuntu Wiki: https://help.ubuntu.ru/wiki/периферийные_устройства/мфу_toshiba_e-studio_181
21:39:48<valdikss>The file is no longer on the site. The subdomains on which the file was located are no longer active. The file was downloaded by a POST request from the page, so it was not cached by archive.org. The company's sales support replied that they no longer have this file, they have changed their business more than 10 years ago and all the people from the Toshiba team are long gone. Help me find it, maybe it's still available somewhere.
21:39:59<valdikss>The file had a name "e-studio-1.1-3.i386.rpm" or "e-studio-1.1-4.i386.rpm" (different versions).
21:40:08<valdikss>It was reachable via: http://wordcraft.com/docs/linux_download, http://legacy.wordcraft.com/docs/linux_download, http://linux.wordcraft.com/docs/download
21:40:10<valdikss>I searched on usenet, dc++ and ed2k, as well as on various ftps, to no avail.
