19:53:27<@JAA>You can upload through the browser. Otherwise, I don't think so. (Also, we're not the Internet Archive.)
19:58:04<Peacock>I know, just wondering if made gui uploader for archiving yet.
19:59:19<Peacock>*if anyone made a gui
20:03:04<Peacock>archive.org's browser gui isn't a really good uploader

23:32:21<mikeshardboiledegg>hello, I'm trying to archive this website: https://cooltweets.herokuapp.com. I tried using the Wayback Machine with "Save outlinks" but it crawled everything in parallel and overwhelmed the heroku instance. is there a way to crawl more gently, or an API that I can submit the links to one by one?
23:35:27<mikeshardboiledegg>hm one sec, I thought the official API didn't include a way of archiving a page (just retrieving) but this looks like what I want: https://archive.readme.io/docs/creating-a-snapshot
23:35:50<thuban>mikeshardboiledegg: request it in #archivebot
23:38:25<mikeshardboiledegg>nvm, bad gateway from the link I posted
23:39:07<mikeshardboiledegg>thuban: I figured archivebot would run into the same issue as the Wayback Machine (judging by how fast it runs at http://dashboard.at.ninjawedding.org/) but I'll give it a shot, thanks
