11:24:19<Rkiwi>Hello. How is best to raise an alarm?
11:24:45<Rkiwi>It's a little late for me this is closest room I thought might be applicable?
11:27:20<Rkiwi>Well... It's 0030 Tuesday morning so apologies in advance....
11:27:23<Rkiwi>https://darebee.com/fitness/training-on-the-weekends-vs-training-every-day.html
11:29:00<Rkiwi>I was looking at darebee and they offer free fitness routines and different things, it caught my eye there wasn't any ads then I saw the low funding part and had a quick read they don't say how low but if we should (the archive team) archive or donate much would be appreciated.
11:29:23<Rkiwi>I am not affiliated with them but I came here to try raise a
11:29:44<Rkiwi>*an alarm before I go to sleep, as I thought someone here might be able to do something or as
11:29:50<Rkiwi>*or able to help.
11:30:16<Rkiwi>Sorry phone doesn't like enter as new paragraph if just sends it automatically hahahaha.
11:31:05<Rkiwi><3 thanks guys! Keep up the good work and when my Nas gets built I'll try help with some mirroring etc. - rkiwii

15:13:12<Bedivere>Anyone knows an easy way to dump a long-dead wiki that's been archived in the Internet Archive (live captures)?

18:09:43<pokechu22>Bedivere: Unfortunately wikiteam tools probably won't react properly with wikis on web.archive.org since it uses the mediawiki API. If the wiki was saved using archivebot all of the needed info on all revisions *should* be saved (since it loads the edit page) but it'd still be a bit awkward to get out
18:10:24<pokechu22>Looking at https://web.archive.org/web/*/example.com/* (except with the wiki's URL) be a useful starting point
18:34:54<pokechu22>Ryz: https://wikiapiary.com/wiki/Project_X_Wiki gives https://archive.org/details/wiki-pxworms2dinfo_px080wiki which was last saved 2020, and https://wikiapiary.com/wiki/Worms_Knowledge_Base gives https://archive.org/details/wiki-worms2dinfo which was also saved 2020. I can re-run it if neede though
18:35:47<Ryz>The former, nah, don't do a rerun since it hasn't been any new edits since then, the latter, yeah, there's new edits
18:35:50<Ryz>pokechu22 ^
18:36:22<pokechu22>Are you aware of any other subdomains?
18:38:41<Ryz>Probably not, tis what I all found from doing archives of the worms2d.info subdomains
18:43:10<pokechu22>I'll probably save both just to be safe (also looks like it's http://px.worms2d.info/px080wiki/index.php/Main_Page vs https://wormspx.worms2d.info/px080wiki/index.php/Main_Page but the same content)
19:08:46<Bedivere>hi pokechu22, thanks for responding. It's this Wiki, from 2009. http://web.archive.org/web/20090521095113/http://www.wikilosrios.cl/index.php/Wikilosr%C3%ADos
19:09:02<Bedivere>Unfortunately I found no dump and although I contacted the former webmaster, they had no backup
19:10:26<Bedivere>It's a good thing most of the articles were actually archived, but it seems like it would need to be manually transcribed into wiki and then dumped into an XML
19:15:12<pokechu22>hmm, it seems like they restricted &action=edit: https://web.archive.org/web/20091101230330/http://www.wikilosrios.cl:80/index.php?title=Patricio_Lara&action=edit - on most wikis nowadays selecting that will give you the source code even if you can't actually edit anonymously
19:15:53<pokechu22>I don't think there's anything on there that could be used to reconstruct it automatically
19:16:09<pokechu22>https://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.wikilosrios.cl/* does list all pages that were captured though - it seems like pretty decent coverage
19:19:42<pokechu22>https://help.archive.org/help/can-i-rebuild-my-website-using-the-wayback-machine/ might help a bit for downloading the HTML pages, but it's not going to make it easy to recreate it as a wiki :/
19:24:45<Bedivere>seems like a difficult work :/ might do it sometime later. for the time being, I'll be downloading the IA spanshots. Thanks pokechu22
