| 07:09:56 | <hfuller> | JAA, so i'm looking around, and I know I can just put the entire tarball on the Archive itself, but I was kind of hoping to get it into the wayback machine, such that if someone goes and types their webpage's url into there, it will find the data I am uploading. is that possible that you know of? I'm kind of new to this |
| 07:10:29 | <hfuller> | i am seeing that the successful archives in the webroasting project are indeed just dropped as directories in the main archive |
| 07:14:58 | <hfuller> | so far, the process is looking like, convert my tarball into a warc (using warcit?), then follow this to upload it https://gist.github.com/Asparagirl/6206247 |

| 16:56:28 | <@JAA> | hfuller: You can't convert a tarball into WARC. Well, you can, but you really shouldn't because it wouldn't be accurate data. The only way to get it into the WBM would be to host the data again, ideally under the original location. Then it could be archived into WARCs directly from that. |
