13:02:47<Kagee>i see that https://wiki.archiveteam.org/index.php/ArchiveTeam_Warrior now uses atdr.meo.ws/archiveteam/warrior-dockerfile- is this correct/official? my old setup just uses archiveteam/warrior-dockerfile at docker hub. https://atdr.meo.ws is not very informative
13:08:48<Maakuth|m>I think docker hub has some limited free use quota

14:25:23<@JAA>Kagee: The Docker Hub image is outdated by years at this point. Yes, atdr.meo.ws/archiveteam/warrior-dockerfile is correct.
14:28:42<Kagee>Ok, thanks
14:29:59<Kagee>guess that explains why the telgram job was sad
14:34:03<Kagee>any reason the warrior could not work on two different prosject at the same time?
14:35:19<@JAA>Possible in theory maybe, but nobody wrote the code for that.
14:35:45<@JAA>If you want more control over what and how many projects run, we recommend using the project images instead.
14:36:24<@JAA>Each project with an ArchiveTeam/foo-grab repo on GitHub corresponds to an atdr.meo.ws/archiveteam/foo-grab image, usually.
14:36:37<Kagee>mm
14:37:00<@JAA>That also allows you to run higher concurrencies if appropriate for the project. The warrior is limited to 6, the project images allow up to 20.
14:37:24<Kagee>mm
14:37:38<@JAA>The warrior is really intended as a low -barrier 'I just want to do *something*' set-up-and-forget thing, so it isn't very flexible.
14:37:39<Kagee>it is not like i use the bandwith i pay for, neither at home or at Linode
14:38:30<Kagee>since i am a consumer of urlteam, i would not mind running that at multiple IPs.
14:38:42<Kagee>and just runn a warrior on "auto" at home
14:39:29<@JAA>That works as well. You can freely combine these as you wish, of course.
14:40:24<@JAA>Oh, I see we don't have prebuilt images for URLTeam. TIL
14:40:36<Kagee>oh 😅
14:40:57<@JAA>There is a Dockerfile though, so easy enough to build your own. But yeah, we should probably fix that.
14:41:31<Kagee>that would be terroroftinytown, right ?
14:41:47<@JAA>Wait, no, there is an image, I just misread the GitHub interface there.
14:41:59<@JAA>atdr.meo.ws/archiveteam/terroroftinytown-client-grab
14:42:16<Kagee>yeah, that works.
14:42:18<Kagee>nice :D
14:43:46<Kagee>do i just run that as a normal warrior image?
14:45:53<@JAA>Oh, the readme is horribly outdated. Ugh
14:46:08<Kagee>😅

18:25:18<myself>Is there any reason not to run multiple warriors on a single IP, as long as they're locked to different projects? I've got chewing away at telegrab but I see no reason I wouldn't spawn another for tinytown...
18:30:25<@JAA>That's fine. If you use the VM, it will obviously use a lot more resources than running the images. You'll also want to make sure they don't write to the same virtual disk, I think. But otherwise, nothing wrong with that approach.
18:36:47<myself>Cool thank you, that matches with my understanding. The VM is a better fit for my [lack of] technical acumen, but system resources I have in abundance. Very glad the VM exists.
