04:38:50<SoJa>warrior keeps turning off for me, any idea where I can look to find out why? I am running it in hyper-v and as a docker container, both seem to stop after a seemingly random amount of time
04:39:30<SoJa>warrior.log has no obvious-to-me clues
04:44:11<SoJa>oh nvm docker logs shows me something...
04:45:26<SoJa>yeah all of my warrior dockers have the same crash log
04:47:01<SoJa>just to make sure I'm not wasting anyones time, this is the currently in-use warrior docker image right? https://hub.docker.com/r/archiveteam/warrior-dockerfile
04:54:31<SoJa>I'm not much of a developer so hopefully this is useful to someone: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Xi8BWHCqzOk846iuqh_wNDBkSRSqP7uU?usp=sharing
04:54:55<SoJa>If there is another preferred method of sharing those lmk, and I'm happy to test any changes if this issue is specific to my setup.
05:14:26<@JAA>SoJa: No, the image on Hub has been unused for a long time now. You want atdr.meo.ws/archiveteam/warrior-dockerfile instead.
05:14:42<@JAA>Cf. https://wiki.archiveteam.org/index.php/ArchiveTeam_Warrior#Installing_and_running_with_Docker
05:15:20<SoJa>hmm I did simply follow the instructions on that page, does that give me the updated docker image?
05:15:33<SoJa>docker ps says: 19e9756fcba9 atdr.meo.ws/archiveteam/warrior-dockerfile "python start.py" 24 hours ago Up 51 minutes 0.0.0.0:8006->8001/tcp, :::8006->8001/tcp archiveteam-warrior6
05:16:42<@JAA>Ok, so you're running the right image then, not the one from Docker Hub.
05:17:01<SoJa>yeah i guess the instructions from docker hub give the correct instructions anyway lol
05:17:08<@JAA>Oh right :-)
05:17:12<SoJa>word salad, but you get it
05:19:04<@JAA>Meh, GDrive doesn't like me right now. Can you upload one of those to https://transfer.archivete.am/ please?
05:19:45<SoJa>sure thing

05:21:15<@JAA>Wut
05:21:35<@JAA>A stack overflow in Python. That's impressive.

05:22:34<SoJa>I noticed my hyper-v appliances turning off(converted directly from the ova) and didn't think much of it. After seeing 5/6 containers dying within 24h I thought about checking it out some more
05:23:08<SoJa>idk if the issue is specific to me or not, I would think if it was widespread it would've been fixed already lol
05:23:16<SoJa>seeing the failure rate I am seeing anyway
05:23:41<@JAA>Yeah, I haven't seen this before and don't remember anyone mentioning it either. This is weird.
05:24:56<@JAA>For future log searchability, the primary error is 'Fatal Python error: _Py_CheckRecursiveCall: Cannot recover from stack overflow.' somewhere deep in Tornado.
05:25:12<SoJa>they seemed to die more often which I queried the web interface. I put all 6 warrior web interfaces on this machine into iframes for a single view of them all
05:25:48<SoJa>not sure if it's related or not.
05:26:28<@JAA>The traceback is certainly somehow related to the web interface, but what you describe doesn't sound like it should cause any problems.
05:27:23<SoJa>maybe having them open for an extremely long amount of time?
05:29:12<@JAA>The log timestamps suggests that it crashes very quickly, but even having it open for a long time shouldn't cause what looks like a loop in Tornado...
05:31:08<SoJa>if there are any changes I can make to trigger deeper logging for tornado just lmk
05:32:07<@JAA>Actually, it looks like it's SockJS, not directly Tornado. Not that that changes much.
05:32:15<@JAA>No clue, maybe someone else has an idea.
05:32:33<SoJa>gotcha
