00:15:03<@chfoo>the server isn't even supposed to send non-ascii bytes so we don't really know what encoding it is and don't record it. the encoding used within the code is python's latin1 codec which just happens to preserve the bytes, not that it actually latin1.

12:07:03<ignaloidas>hmm, I did try to decode it using utf8 which shoudl've worked if it was just ascii but there were some that didn't, so there are some URL's in there that aren't ascii only for some reason
