23:05:24<billotronic>1. You folks are awesome 2. Can anyone give me a ballpark of how much data this project will eat up per day? I missed helping with parler and would very much like to help these other causes. Thanks.

23:08:56<@JAA>billotronic: It's only a few hundred MB per day currently. If we were to expand it (read: if someone were to do the necessary research and add more shorteners to the tracker), that could go up of course, but yeah, it's tiny compared to other of our projects.
23:16:38<billotronic>oh ok cool. No worries then. So how does one go about finding more work for the project then?
23:19:44<@JAA>Well, it's mostly the 'add to the tracker' part, which isn't open to the public.
23:20:09<@JAA>But in terms of research, details on the shorteners under https://archiveteam.org/index.php?title=URLTeam#Alive and integrating the mess on https://archiveteam.org/index.php?title=URLTeam/unsorted would help.
23:21:01<@JAA>Format of the shortcodes, sequential vs random, response codes on existing and non-existing codes, etc.
23:26:40<billotronic>oooo awesome thanks.
