01:18:26<ljcool2006>did the wayback machine get blocked by comcast? has been timing out for me since an hour ago, but visiting on mobile data works
01:18:55<ljcool2006>some other people are having the same problem: https://archive.org/post/2443507/i-cant-access-the-wayback-machine-under-my-main-wifi-anymore https://old.reddit.com/r/internetarchive/comments/1rcz9x7/i_cant_access_only_the_wayback_machine_under_my/
02:08:14<ljcool2006>seems to be working now
02:13:46<pabs>hmm, the WBM says 17 captures for /node/167?PHPSESSID... on https://web.archive.org/web/*/http://prevolution.org/node/*
02:14:04<pabs>but then you click it and get "Wayback Machine has not archived that URL."

20:01:29<nicolas17>https://archive.org/download/macos-bridgeos-23P54224b-warc I accidentally uploaded a 1MB warc, then I uploaded the correct 500MB file with "ia upload --no-backup", will IA overwrite the derived cdx etc. with a new one?
20:05:05<klea>nicolas17: if it doesn't seem to have started a derivation task, run JAA's little-things' ia-derive with the item id.
20:05:25<klea>idk if the normal ia command has a way to submit the derivation task.
20:06:10<klea>Tho it seems it's being modified by book_op, so you could probably wait.
20:10:48<nicolas17>I almost regret using .warc.gz because it takes longer to compress than to download -_-
20:11:08<klea>huh, are you making it properly
20:11:28<klea>I believe lots of ways to compress a warc after the fact wouldn't let you seek to specific records, without decompressing the whole file.
20:11:40<nicolas17>yes, "letting wget-lua do it"
20:12:33<nicolas17>as opposed to what I did in the past: "wget-lua --no-warc-compression" and upload it uncompressed
20:12:57<klea>oh ok.

23:09:07<@JAA>nicolas17: I think it should automatically run another derive unless you explicitly suppress it, yeah.
