09:26:19<Ryz>A bit funny that it says they'll send an e-mail on the results regarding trying to have the Wayback Machine archive the Twitter account of https://twitter.com/Akane_Asahina__ - but I didn't put in an e-mail address lol: https://transfer.archivete.am/AhLVk/firefox_2023-05-25_02-23-43.png
09:26:48<Ryz>Also, unrelated, the upload website is having those 500 problems; I haven't encountered that before S:
09:39:34<datechnoman>It's been having the 500 error codes for the last few days. I believe they are aware of it :) it's been hammered the last few weeks with imgur and stuff

18:00:45<fireonlive>Ryz: how did you get it to do "an whole twitter account"?
18:02:16<fireonlive>something i've always wondered; does IA 'dedupe' wayback machine stuff at all? f.e. someone sees @popularfigure post something inflamatory and runs off to archive it. there's a X/day (X/hour?) max limit but do they only hold on to one copy of the page if it hasn't changed whatssoever?
18:02:40<fireonlive>(not taking into factor backups/replication/etc)
18:09:32<Ryz>freeonlive, if you're referring to archiving a Twitter account via WBM, post the Twitter account there, and there will be a popup to be able to tick a box, unfortunately, it will only capture the latest 3,200 Twitter posts :c
18:09:37<Ryz>*fireonlive
18:10:38<fireonlive>indeed! and ah ok
18:10:55<fireonlive>just the https://twitter.com/abcd link
18:12:36<fireonlive>ah! i see it now. maybe adblock i had a cached version or soemthing

21:52:22<hlgs|m>i've got a list of a few hundred tumblr blogs, with some taking priority, that i want to back up to the wayback machine entirely in case tumblr decides to terminate them like it's been doing lately. anyone know what the quickest way to go about that would be? with 1 depth of outlinks ideally just to make sure images and read mores are captured

21:56:54<pokechu22>ArchiveBot can probably do it, though it'd need to be done one job at a time and that might be a bit annoying. It'd at least be good for the priority ones
21:58:05<@JAA>Yeah, +1 for AB
21:58:27<hlgs|m>would it be able to do them sequentially?
21:58:32<hlgs|m>so i don't have to start it manually every time
