03:18:42<HP_Archivist>Hm. So I went to save the wiki for Tom Snyder with the WBM GH repo extension and I see that the WBM timeline shows this capture as done on Jan 19th 2021
03:18:44<HP_Archivist>https://web.archive.org/web/20210901000000*/https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom_Snyder
03:19:28<HP_Archivist>Even on East Coast time it's not the 19th yet. Bug?
03:20:21<HP_Archivist>I mean, that's a fairly serious bug if I'm looking at this right
03:20:28<HP_Archivist>JAA - thoughts?
03:21:21<HP_Archivist>It is the 19th in other parts of the world already as of right this moment. But timeline shows this as my capture done on 19th, when it's still the 18th...
03:24:37<Jake>It does specify GMT in the popup? It's currently the 19th at 3:24 GMT? https://time.is/GMT
03:28:04<HP_Archivist>Jake: Huh. I guess I never looked too much into the time of capture... That's why I said, knew it was already the 19th elsewhere. But California, USA it's still the 18th. So no matter where you are in the world, if it's the next day somewhere else, regardless of your own timezone/date at that moment, it will capture and designate for the most recent possible date (in this case, the 19th)
03:28:11<HP_Archivist>Interesting...
03:31:03<Jake>I assume they have some set timezone they use, I've honestly never looked, but it does say GMT on everything, so I imagine they just use one timezone to simplify everything?
03:32:49<HP_Archivist>Makes sense, and then from there as long as it's uniform using GMT you can figure out what the time was elsewhere, right
03:33:21<HP_Archivist>Yeah, same, I never looked at it too much either. I just happen to view the capture I did on that wiki and noticed the 19th and had expected the 18th

17:00:14<@JAA>Yes, all timestamps in the WBM are UTC. It's the best time zone anyway.
