22:15:08<myself>I bought a stack of optane drives off ebay, stuffed them into usb-nvme adapters, and I've been slowly migrating all my raspberry-and-similar over to optane for longevity, they're great. Of course at some point I could've just bought a real computer, but that's no fun is it?
22:20:07<multisn8>as far as i'm concerned, there is no "real computer" other than the one you're having fun with ^^
22:30:24<hexa->raspberry's are infuriating
22:30:32<hexa->I want mainline uboot, efi support, mainline kernel
22:30:37<hexa->and yeah, no sd card
22:30:49<hexa->otherwise it becomes a shitty single purpose device hidden in a corner
22:41:17<steering>why are sd cards disposable items now? :/

22:54:41<nulldata>"Every manageable element in an IPv8 network is authorised via OAuth2 JWT tokens"
22:55:09<multisn8>klea: thanks for sharing. that is abhorrent but important
22:55:16<nulldata>"the OAuth8 cache holds all public keys and validates signatures locally in sub- millisecond time."
22:57:07<nulldata>JAA - seems like a sensible proposal
23:07:51<@JAA>klea: Yeah, I read about that some days ago. Not to distract from the very real issue there, but the reporting has been poor, including in that article. The headline and beginning paints the picture of a site dedicated to such videos, for example, when it's just a general porn site (with, apparently, poor moderation). Some other articles even called it an 'academy' with '62 million men attending last
23:07:57<@JAA>month' etc.
23:08:39<klea>I got it from a not so small subreddit, if wanted I can drop the comment url of it on AB's channel.
23:08:47<klea>Oh, wait, AB doesn't handle reddit well.
23:09:45<klea>They talked more about Gisèle Pelicot tho.
23:10:25<@JAA>Yeah, that's what brought this kind of abuse to light.
