15:27:39<h3ndr1k>I did Secure Erase with multiple SSDs. Try "hdparm -I" iirc. (Uppercase i) Or just google hdparm ata secure erase. There is a nice wiki entry on I think kernel.org.
17:12:25<systwi>Not sure how "enhanced" that really is, but DBAN (dban.org), or similarly the `nwipe' package (accessible via your favourite package manager) is commonly used in the enterprise (for disks they wish to keep).
