01:52:40<TheTechRobo>what's that?
01:52:59<TheTechRobo>the "then don't do it" one?
01:53:05<@JAA>Yep
01:53:47<TheTechRobo>I have to though...I'm trying to send a PR to a Discord archiving tool to archive the new discord "components" (AKA buttons, they're really trying to sound cool)
01:53:49<TheTechRobo>It's written in .net
01:54:31<@JAA>Mono?
01:54:44<TheTechRobo>that works for building?
01:55:40<TheTechRobo>I thought it was just a runtime
01:55:55<TheTechRobo>TIL
01:56:24<@JAA>MonoDevelop etc., yeah.
01:57:00<@JAA>Not overly familiar with the details, but it's definitely possible to compile .NET stuff with it.

02:00:21<TheTechRobo>yup
02:00:53<TheTechRobo>Meh, at least it doesn't use 500MB of space

15:51:56<Frogging101>nice
15:52:15<TheTechRobo>You put the stuff you want to download in `lis.txt' and it'll download them, then write their ID to arc.txt so it doesn't get redownloaded (yt-dlp will detect the subtitles and video is already downloaded, but not the metadata, so in this case itll redonload comments)
15:52:34<TheTechRobo>(ytdlp will write the ID automatically to arc.txt, I misspoke)
15:52:49<Frogging101>thanks, I'll save that
15:53:06<TheTechRobo>put it in your homedir and it'll be the automatic one if you want, otherwise you can use --config-file iirc
15:53:25<TheTechRobo>it does download comments tho, which can take a while
15:53:28<TheTechRobo>so be warned
