13:51:19<thuban>why do github's fancy new features shit up normal git workflow?
13:53:06<Barto>because git workflow is definitely not github workflow
13:53:12<thuban>"suggested changes" are great, in theory. except afaict the only way to mark them as resolved is to commit them directly from the github web interface. which means no opportunity to run tests locally or make associated changes that may be needed.
13:53:18<Barto>that's my reasoning ;)
13:53:33<thuban>i want this to be incompetence but it's probably EEE malice ._.
13:53:37<wizards>could be deliberate as a form of lock-in

18:07:44<Sanqui|m>hi from matrix btw. at long last
18:08:37<Sanqui|m>I started an AT "Space" which collects the bridged IRC channels, if anybody's interested. (no take-backs, the bridge is officially provided by hackint)

18:09:43<britmob|m>hello fellow matrix user
18:11:18<Sanqui>I will probably continue to chat interchangeably from irc but I like having more reasons to use matrix
