06:11:46<atphoenix>I increasingly dislike HLS. Traditional video delivery methods (in browser) would buffer the whole video if you paused it long enough. But not HLS from what I've seen so far. This makes it very painful to try to watch a video in browser on a narrow link, as the video won't download slowly for later smooth playback.
06:12:31<atphoenix>I know youtube-dl can sometimes be used as a workaround. Doesn't help much for random stuff while web browsing.
