22:45:13<LegitSi>During the 2021 Roblox outage, you could not access Roblox Studio due to some backend service being down. This service was later revealed to be some part of Roblox's servers.
22:45:57<LegitSi>Basically, Roblox Studio has perpetual DRM installed that makes it so that if Roblox shuts down, Roblox Studio becomes a paperweight.
22:46:27<LegitSi>However, if you are in the middle of using Roblox Studio and Roblox shuts down, Roblox Studio will perform in a limited state. (Can speak from experience)

22:47:40<LegitSi>I cannot confirm how much of Roblox Studio performs, but I can tell you based on past experience if you didn't start a game session before Roblox shutdown, it will not load your avatar correctly.
