14:36:01<@arkiver>HCross: that may be good yeah, URL list might be a problem though
14:36:15<@arkiver>does anyone here have tor sites that should be archived before the switch happens?
14:36:49<@HCross>Unfortunately manually added URL lists is the only way I'm willing to run this
14:38:37<@JAA>There are a bunch of .onion lists, and all the short ones will vanish (though some unknown fraction of them will of course have moved to v3).
14:39:12<@JAA>No idea about *good* lists though.

14:58:31<@HCross>hm
14:58:40<@HCross>if we can collate a list I can process them
14:58:43<@HCross>When is the deadline please
14:59:50<@JAA>No hard deadline. There will be a new Tor version on the 15th, and that will no longer support v2 onion addresses. So as the network upgrades, they'll become unavailable. Not sure whether it will just break entirely very quickly or become slower and slower etc. as more v2 traffic gets concentrated on the nodes still supporting it.

19:03:10<Hosseinifard>How can I check the archiving status of a website?
19:03:12<Hosseinifard>For example, is mihanblog.com completely archived?
19:04:28<@JAA>That's a difficult question to answer. To confirm whether some website's contents are all covered, you need to know the structure of the website etc.
19:04:45<@JAA>But this can serve as an indication at least: https://web.archive.org/web/*/http://mihanblog.com/*

21:36:57<Jake>Ryz: out of curiosity, what changed in the terms?
21:46:20<Ryz>Oh, there was an update on clarification of the terms of service: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k3tnDSxEzXM
21:48:10<Ryz>Uhh, basically there were a bunch of changes that were too vague, the main one that may affect content being 'physical dangerous activities', which would extend to first person video games: https://youtu.be/k3tnDSxEzXM?t=298 - it got more specific and more clarified: https://youtu.be/k3tnDSxEzXM
21:48:37<Ryz>I'm still thinking of archiving Roblox content in some way because it's getting so much larger and there's a lot of messes~
