00:20:04<nicolas17>ah I found a way to delete items, so I'm left with the "should I"?
00:23:16<@OrIdow6>Per the cost estimate that archive.org once gave out it will cost about $1.09 for them to store your 600 MB file forever
00:23:43<@OrIdow6>Also keep in mind that depending on what you've found it may not be delete, just hide
00:24:43<@OrIdow6>Anyhow, IMO you should keep it

02:32:21<PokestarFan>Hello, I wanted to ask a question about ingestion of data into the Wayback machine
02:32:41<PokestarFan>I'm running my own project of archiving all of AniList's 280 million activities
02:32:53<PokestarFan>I'm uploading the finished WARCs to my Archive.org account
02:33:05<PokestarFan>How do I know if these WARCs will be put into the Wayback Machine?
02:34:23<@JAA>They won't. Only uploads that come from established trustworthy sources are included in the WBM. It'd be too easy to falsify the historical record otherwise.
02:34:32<nicolas17>"the Internet Archive isn't accepting WARCs for ingestion into the WBM from anyone but a very specific set of whitelisted users right now."
02:36:34<PokestarFan>The archived data would still be useful regardless, right?

17:14:40<Barto>anything planned for Guinea?
17:17:04<gazorpazorp>Another thing I wanted to mention: In the Wiki articles for Docker and Warrior it says "The scripts run in a Docker container, so there is no risk to your computer.". IMO Docker could be secure, but exploits and misconfigurations happen, so it's possible that something malicious escapes and hurts the whole system. Even Qubes OS (whose VM isolation is arguably much more secure than Docker's container isolation) doesn't pretend to
17:17:04<gazorpazorp>be a "no risk" system - it just says it's "reasonably secure". So my point is to maybe reword that sentence in the wiki to include the fact that there's no 100% security, especially when it comes to Docker. I don't want to be a dick and nitpick, but that sentence caught my attention each time I read the articles
17:17:47<Jake>feel free to edit it!
17:18:59<gazorpazorp>I wasn't sure if I should, since I'm pretty new to AT. I'm not even sure how to reword it in a way that both highlights Docker's security and at the same time says there's nothing 100% secure.
17:21:34<gazorpazorp>I'll try to think of a short sentence or two that assures people that the containers provide reasonable security, but that there is no such thing as 100% security. If someone with better writing skills wants to edit it, go ahead
