03:08:41<atphoenix>that was prompted because Ryz found an old blog page https://1post1der.blogspot.com/ that links to quite a few other old no longer updated blog pages, and Ryz noticed that a lot are not in WBM at all. So it's a recognition that there are a lot of aging/abandoned blogs there, sitting on a Google platform. An age-based scope limit of say 'not updated in past 5 years' would cover the stuff that was found.
03:12:49<Ryz>It is really curious to see there we no links to those respective blogs, you have to manually copy and paste or type out those URLs to make it work
03:13:31<@JAA>There's been discussion on this in #archivebot before. The big problem is that we haven't found any way to discover Blogger blogs.
03:14:23<Ryz>Uhh, what about going through Blogger profiles? It's numerical? Although it'll give 429s if they're accessed too many times~
03:14:56<Ryz>Also, there can be secret blogs made by a user but not listed in 'My blogs' at all from that one instance I stumbled across
03:15:14<@JAA>Profile IDs are too long to bruteforce.
03:17:27<@JAA>Same goes for blog IDs in the RSS feeds for example. Old blogs were sequential, but newer ones aren't.

03:54:49<atphoenix>The sequentialness for the old blogs is still useful. The oldest blogs may be the most valuable ones, from the perspective that they have mid-2000s content, and if they are still active then they have some of the longest continuous records still online, and if they're not active then they're the type of content we target with AB anyhow.

20:32:14<tech234a>Ah it’s not on the home page
20:33:33<SCSi>yeah the warrior (at least the docker version) doesnt have niconico on the page
20:33:37<SCSi>nor a default project
20:33:48<@EggplantN>hrm so it requires it on the front page to work?
20:33:51<@EggplantN>huh didnt know that

20:34:18<SCSi>that dockerfile is what im using, i just pulled it this morning
20:34:55<@JAA>And yeah, http://warriorhq.archiveteam.org/projects.json has niconico as the default project, but no such project is defined.
20:35:10<@EggplantN>I removed it as it "was" done
20:35:13<@EggplantN>then more items appeared
20:35:23<@JAA>Just leave finished projects in for a bit. :-)
20:35:52<@EggplantN>ok fixed
20:36:01<@EggplantN>It was fully done JAA then someone discovered more :P
20:36:16<@JAA>Yeah, my point is that it should stay there even after completion for a bit.
20:36:50<@EggplantN>fair point
20:36:54<@JAA>So people who go looking there can see that it's finished, find the size, etc.
20:37:00<SCSi>there we go
20:37:08<@JAA>Without having to dig through the wiki, if someone even created a wiki page etc.
20:38:55<@EggplantN>I wish we had them seperated for that reason JAA

20:41:44<SCSi>yanno, just so when people look they go 'oh wow, thats a lot of archiving'
