23:28:35<lennier1>I'm surprised that many clips got deleted. I wonder how the reasons break down--DMCA, deleted account, users deleting clips, etc.?
23:29:53<lennier1>Is there more metadata on the clips? If we download everything, we should probably match them up to the reddit posts so there's actually some info about what the clips are.
23:36:41<lennier1>Just spot-checking a few, it seems like many of those aren't on the CDN anymore. Maybe they're only cached for so long after deletion?
23:36:49<kiwec>You can get the original clip title from the same reddit post metadata. But that isn't very useful and to keep the tabular format simple I didn't include it
23:37:18<kiwec>There are a ton of 403s, I'm downloading A* right now and most of them are 403s.
23:38:41<lennier1>I guess I was thinking of something like a link to the reddit post, which I assume would often have info about who was playing, what game it was, etc.
23:40:23<lennier1>A lot of those URLs are pretty simple, like just a 9 digit number ID. With sufficient resources could someone do a more exhaustive scan?
23:46:35<kiwec>It wouldn't be useful since 1) twitch puts more data in that bucket that we ever could pull out 2) we can't tell which clip it comes from or if the clip is deleted
